HINA doll or HINA NINGYO, Japanese geisha from the mid EDO period (1750-1780) .

These girl dolls came only once a year out of the cabinet on doll/girls-day, a Japanese celebrationday on March 3.

The face of the doll is made of egg-shell.

As for its age, the condition is very good.
